In Soglia del silenzio, l’artista trasforma un dettaglio urbano apparentemente anonimo in una potente meditazione visiva sull’attesa e sulla percezione. L’opera si presenta come una composizione minimale, costruita su tre fasce cromatiche: l’arancio bruciato e materico che domina la superficie, la sottile linea bianca che delimita il margine superiore e il cielo che, con la sua leggerezza, si apre in alto come un respiro. La forma ovale, incastonata nella parete, assume il valore di una finestra cieca, di un varco che promette ma non rivela. È uno spazio sospeso tra interno ed esterno, chiusura e possibilità. Il rigore geometrico del rettangolo e la morbidezza dell’ovale convivono in un equilibrio di opposti, creando una tensione silenziosa. L’opera si colloca nel solco dell’astrazione lirica contemporanea, dove la materia e il colore diventano portatori di senso. Il rosso-arancio non è solo una scelta estetica, ma un richiamo al calore, all’energia vitale e insieme all’attesa del gesto. In Threshold of Silence, the artist transforms a seemingly anonymous urban detail into a powerful visual meditation on waiting and perception. The work presents itself as a minimal composition, constructed on three chromatic bands: the burnt, material orange that dominates the surface, the thin white line that delimits the upper edge, and the sky that, with its lightness, opens above like a breath. The oval shape, set into the wall, takes on the value of a blind window, a gap that promises but does not reveal. It is a space suspended between inside and outside, closure and possibility. The geometric rigor of the rectangle and the softness of the oval coexist in a balance of opposites, creating a silent tension. The work is part of contemporary lyrical abstraction, where material and color become bearers of meaning. The red-orange is not only an aesthetic choice, but also a reference to warmth, vital energy, and the anticipation of the gesture.
